Enrol Employees to the 50/50 Section

Use the Calculation Cards task to move an employee into and out of the 50/50 section of the main scheme.

Perfom the following steps:

  1. Open the employee’s Benefits and Pensions card and select the Effective As-of Date to the earliest date on which the 50/50 transfer can happen, that is, no earlier than one day after the employee has communicated their election.
  2. Select the main scheme contribution type and click Edit.
  3. Select the Member of 50/50 section check box.
  4. Select Delete and End Date to enter the date on which any additional pension type contributions that aren’t payable under the 50/50 section should cease. This date should be the day before the 50/50 section enrolment can begin.
