Use this document to understand concepts and tasks you need to know before you begin implementing and setting up payroll for the United Kingdom.

Audience

This document covers practical end-to-end guidance for your payroll implementation teams. You need to have a working knowledge of the basic principles of payroll and you're familiar with the required payroll terminology.

Before you can start implementing payroll for the UK, it's imperative that:

  • You have the Payroll license

  • You've completed the initial setup of the Oracle Fusion application

  • You've completed implementing the HR-specific tasks required for payroll implementation and processing. For example, setting up requisite jurisdictions for tax reporting

While this guide is primarily intended for the implementation team, you can also use this guide if you run payroll processes after implementation.
