Currency Precision

Precision refers to the number of digits placed after the decimal point used in regular currency transactions. For example, USD would have 2 as the precision value for transactional amounts, such as $1.00.

To set the precision rate for a currency:

  1. Start the Manage Currencies task from your implementation project.

  2. Search for the currency.

  3. In the search results, expand the currency.

  4. Set the new precision values, and click Save and Close.

If you don't want to change the precision of the currency itself, you can change how currency amounts display on the payslip. For further info, see Rate Precision in Payslips in the Help Center.
