Why is the task name on checklist different from the predefined task name?

All predefined payroll processes and reports are delivered with a corresponding flow task. For example, the Payroll Calculation process is delivered with a predefined Calculate Payroll task and the Calculate Payroll flow pattern.

When you create a user-defined flow pattern and include a predefined task, you can rename the task to reflect the context of the user-defined flow pattern. For example, if you're defining a payroll cycle for your company's weekly payroll cycle, you can add the Payroll Calculation task and rename it as 'Weekly Payroll'.

After you submit the user-defined flow, the checklist displays this user-defined task name.
