Overview of Loading Objects with HCM Data Loader

Use HCM Data Loader for bulk-loading and maintaining payroll data. You can navigate to the HCM Data Loader pages directly from the Payroll Checklist page. On the Checklist page, select the Initiate Data Loader task to open the HCM Data Loader object status page.

Load a UK Worker File with a TRU Defined for Assignment

For a new work relationship, you must only include the earliest assignment in a Worker file for one specific TRU.

Later, you can load multiple assignments in another file for the person for the same TRU. They must be associated with the existing Statutory Deductions card.

When loading an assignment in a Worker file for another TRU, if an active Statutory Deductions card already exists for that TRU, ensure the assignments are automatically associated with the Statutory Deductions card. Otherwise, they need to be associated with a card after the loading is completed.

Note: An error would occur if an HCM Data Loader file is prepared but there's no term or assignment that starts on the same date as the work relationship. The application fails to load the file.
