How You Enable Administrator Access to HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader
There are two administrator aggregate privileges available for HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader, which allow you to give access to:
- Maintain all HSDL templates
- Access all data set and data set actions
Access to Maintain All Templates
Aggregate Privilege Name | Aggregate Privilege Code |
---|---|
HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader Template Administration | ORA_HRC_HSDL_TEMPLATE_ADMINISTRATION |
- The Spreadsheet Templates task
- Create spreadsheet templates for any object that supports HSDL
- Maintain all existing templates
Access to All Data Sets and Data Set Actions
Apart from assigning roles to access the templates, you can configure the data set access for each role, such as create, save, upload, roll back and view all.
For business object templates where the object's application data security isn't extended to HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader, you won't be able to assign the role access. In such cases, you can create a custom role with this administrator access to grant data set permissions on all HSDL templates.

HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader Data Set Administration | ORA_HRC_HSDL_DATA_SET_ADMINISTRATION |
- The Run Spreadsheet Data Loader task
- Generate a spreadsheet from any active template
- Create, save, upload, roll back and view all data sets within a generated spreadsheet, where the business object supports the capability.
However, in order to be able to upload data using the template you should grant this aggregate privilege
