Examples of Start Date Validation Rule
The examples in this topic show you how to use the absence start date validation rule to restrict accrual plan related absence entries to particular dates.
Use this rule rule to determine the date when you want to process entitlement calculations for a qualification plan related absence. You configure the absence start date validation rule in the Display Features tab when you create or edit an absence type.
Configuring the Rule for Accrual Plan Absences Using Two Conditions
Scenario:

You want to enable workers to schedule an absence only if the absence start date is two days later than or equal to the current date.

You configure the first condition of the absence start date validation rule with the following information.
