Initialize Salary, FIT, Medicare, and SIT Balances
In this example, you want to initialize an employee’s federal and state-level balances with specific contexts.
This example initializes only the employee balances, but you can repeat these steps for employer balances, such as Medicare Employer Tax.
When initializing year-to-date and quarter-to-date balances, you must also initialize any related balances. For example, when initializing FIT Withheld, you must also include related balances, such as FIT Gross, FIT Reduced Subject Withholdable, and so on.
