Pennsylvania Tax Exemptions

To exempt multiple employees from Pennsylvania city, school, and Local Services Tax (LST) withholding, use HCM Data Loader.

To exempt individual employees:

1. From My Client Groups, click Payroll.

2. Click Calculation Entries.

3. Search for and select the person, and open their Tax Withholding card.

4. Open the Pennsylvania PSD component for editing.

5. Select exemptions for the following.

   • LST

   • City tax

   • School district tax

   Note:

   In the case of exemptions for Pennsylvania local taxes, don't use the exemption fields in City Tax Information of the city node. Use them only for Philadelphia city taxes.

6. Click Save and Close.
