This subject area helps to report on the breakdown of work shifts impacted by worker absences. For example, if a worker is absent from specific shifts, you can report on which shifts are affected and the duration of the absence. This subject area provides key details such as the worker’s name, assignment, absence type, unit of measure, absence start and end date time, and shift durations.

For Unit of Measure (UOM) of Hours and Days, the Shift Absence Duration metric shows accurate durations, while for other Unit of Measures (UOM), it always displays as 1. Report this metric alongside the Unit of Measure (UOM) for clarity.
The Shift Absence Duration (Hours) metric displays the shift duration in hours, regardless of the selected Unit of Measure (UOM).
