How can I manage role access for some objects?
Some objects provide data security validation within the application but that isn't available when bulk loading with HSDL.
Templates based on these objects restrict roles from being assigned to them.
To allow the user to assign roles to access any HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader template,
including those based on secured business objects that don't implement data security in
HSDL, grant the HRC_ASSIGN_ROLES_TO_ANY_HSDL_TEMPLATE privilege to your
custom role. When maintaining templates, users with this privilege will now see:
- Assign Roles to Template on the Define page is always Enabled
- The Create button on the Role Access page is always Enabled
Data loaded with any template where Upload Data As is set to Elevated User will not evaluate data security. Records with seen as being created and updated by the elevated user.
