Payroll Activity Center Notifications

The Notifications pane displays notifications related to the 11 payroll tasks associated with Payroll Activity Center, for your review and action.

Moreover, these notifications are related to the signed-in user and to the selected payroll or flow. For example, New Hire related notifications won't be shown in these notifications.

Notifications generated by payroll flows inform you when a payroll task requires attention, such as when a process is in error status. The notifications related to the Payroll Activity Center tasks are displayed below the Actions pane in the Payroll Activity Center summary page. You can click Show More in the Notifications pane to see all notifications that require your approval or review.

• Manual flow tasks send workflow notifications and approvals when the task becomes active. You can approve the manual task directly from the notification. Clicking the notification link navigate you to the corresponding Payroll Checklist or QuickPay page. Once the manual task is approved, it’s set as complete on the flow checklist.
• Process and report flow tasks send alerts or informational notifications to notify you the flow status, such as task started, task completed, and so on. Clicking the notification link displays detailed information about the notification, and you can click the View Checklist link to navigate to the Payroll Checklist page. You can review and dismiss the alert directly from the notification.

Note: These notifications are automatically enabled when you enable Payroll Activity Center.
