Prerequisites for Self Service Procurement

You must enable elastic search for catalog shopping and requisitions.

  1. In the Manage Administrator Profile Values task, set values for these profile options:
    1. Set Row fetch count for initial ingest process (Code: ORA_FND_SEARCH_FETCH_COUNT) to 100.
    2. Set Time in minutes to reset the ResultSet (Code: ORA_FND_RESULT_SET_RESET_MINS) to 60.
  2. For catalog shopping:
    1. Navigate to Tools > Scheduled Processes and then select Schedule New Process.
    2. Search for and select the Transform Data Post Upgrade process.
    3. Set the value of Parameter Value for Feature Name to POPULATE_ELASTIC_INTERMEDIATE_TABLE and select Submit.
      Note: If you don't have the Manage Procurement Catalog Content privilege, then you won't be able to enter a value for Parameter Value for Feature Name at this step and if you submit the process without providing the parameter value, the process will fail.
    4. Monitor the process and after it’s complete, wait for at least 2 hours to ensure that the updated database statistics are available for the next process to run efficiently.
