Manage the Display of Quick Actions in Activity Centers

You can show, hide, or reorder quick actions or quick action groups in My Activity Center, Team Activity Center and HCM Professional Activity Center, using the Structure tool.

Any changes that you make will also reflect on the home page and throughout the HCM application, as applicable. However, only those quick actions that are in the Redwood experience display in activity centers.

Note: Even if you display a quick action, it won't be visible on the My Activity Center or Person Activity Center landing page, unless you pin it. However, it'll be available on the Quick actions drawer panel.

On the navigator, go to Configuration > Sandboxes.
Create a sandbox or enter an existing one. Make sure the sandbox has the Structure tool added to it.
From the sandbox Tools menu, select Structure.
Select the name of a group that has quick actions, for example, My Team.
On the Edit Group page, select the Quick Actions tab.
Make changes to a quick action group:
1. Show or hide: Select the group name, for example, Journeys, and select Yes or No from the Visible list. If you hide a quick action group, none of the quick actions within it will be displayed on the home page or activity centers.
2. Reorder: Use the Move Up or Move Down icons next to the quick action group.
Make changes to a quick action:
1. Show or hide: Expand the name of the quick action group, for example Journeys. Select the quick action, for example, Team Journeys, and select an option from the Visible list.
  
  Note: If you select EL Expression, the evaluation of the EL expression decides whether the quick action will be visible for specific user roles. Select the Edit icon next to the list and enter an expression without line breaks or double quotes. Validate the EL expression and make sure it evaluates to true or false.
2. Reorder: Expand the name of the quick action group and use the Move Up or Move Down icons next to the quick action.
Save your changes and publish the sandbox.
