Create an Element Object Group

In this example, you create an element object group.

  1. On the Object Groups page in the Search Results section, click Create.

  2. In the Create Object Groups dialog box, Name field, enter Element Group.

  3. In the Legislative Data Group field, select US Legislative Data Group.

  4. In the Type field, select Element Group.

  5. Click Continue.

  6. On the Create Object Group page, in the Basic Data section for the Start Date field, enter 1/1/2016.

  7. For the End Date field, enter 12/31/2018.

  8. Select the object group parameter.

    • In the Object Group Parameters section, in the Value column, click Search.

    • In the Object Group Parameters field, enter %.

    • Click Search.

      Note:

      For element groups, the usage type can be a run group, distribution group, or configuration group. This element group will be used to specify the elements to be entered in batch loader.

    • Click Distribution Group.

      Note:

      This element group will include all elements in the Standard Earnings classification, with the exception of Shift. Also, you must add federal taxes to be included.

  9. Click Next.
