Add Comments for Reopened Journey Tasks

  1. Configure the journey task to allow multiple comments.
    1. Go to My Client Groups > Journeys Setup > Journey Templates.
    2. Select the template.
    3. In the Tasks section, edit the task to allow multiple comments.
    4. In the Comments and attachments section, select the Enable comments check box.
    5. Select Yes to allow multiple comments.
  2. On the Display Settings tab, make sure that you allow comments and make comments required.
  3. Select Save.
  4. Assign the journey.
When multiple comments are enabled, users no longer see the original comment section for the task. They see the Comments button to view and add comments. After the journey is assigned, the assignee can reopen the completed task and add related comments.
  1. Open journeys and navigate to the completed task.
  2. On the task, select Actions > Reopen Task.
  3. Select the start and due dates for the reopened task.
  4. In the Comments field, add the reason for reopening the task.
  5. Select Reopen.
  6. Expand the task, make the changes, and save.
  7. Select Comments.
  8. Add notes based on the changes done and select Submit.
  9. Close the Comments panel drawer.
