Configure to Directly Open External URL Task in Guided Journey

You can configure an External URL guided journey task with no task notes to open directly in a new tab from the task banner.

1. Go to My Client Groups > Journeys Setup > Guided Journey.
2. Click the guided journey name that contains the task to configure.
3. In the Tasks section, click the Edit icon for the task to directly open the external URL.
4. Ensure that the task has no notes.
5. Click the Advanced tab.
6. Rename the default Go to website action label by entering a custom label.
7. Click Save.

Results:

After the configuration, users can directly open the external URL page by clicking the action button on the guided task banner.
