Overview

Legislative data updates are periodic updates that you must uptake to keep your geography and tax data up-to-date to ensure correct tax calculations and address validations.

Use the Legislative Data Updates payroll quick action under My Client Groups on your home page to access the Legislative Data Updates page.

Use this page to view and manage planned or unplanned tax and geography data updates for your country. The page lists the monthly updates as given here.
  • Planned predefined on-cycle monthly updates that are either required or not required.
  • Unplanned off-cycle updates that are in addition to the on-cycle planned updates and may be required to fix an urgent issue.
Use these options available on the Legislative Data Updates page to quickly view the monthly updates as per your requirement.
  • Use the tabs at the top of the page to view the Planned or Unplanned monthly updates.

  • Use the Sequence number to decide the sequence of the updates. This is applicable only if there are more than one update for a month for a given legislation.
  • Use the filter options and view the updates by year, country, type, required or not required updates, and by the status of the updates.
  • Use the Add to Opt Out option to defer or skip an unplanned update.
  • Use the Actions menu to view the actions you can take to manage and change the status of an update.
  • Use the Run Now action to automatically initiate the Run Legislative Data Updates flow.
