Workforce Management - Share Data Access Real Time

Description

Provides real time information on the data access provided to a worker about the other workers from a Manager or a HR Analyst.

There are three persons involved in this Subject Area:

Grantee (to whom access has to be given)

Submitted by (who submitted the request for granting access- Access Granted By)

Worker - Person whose data is being shared.

Worker dimension and Common dimensions are based on the person whose data is being shared.

You can report on all these personas, the expiry date of the access and any notes added. Grantee and Submitted By Information are based on their primary assignments. Dimension only queries from Grantee and Submitted By are secured by Person security. Once the expiration date is passed the access is revoked..

Example: Worker A provides access to Worker B about the data of the Person X. After the expiry date, Worker B can't access the information related to Person X

This subject area can answer the following business questions:

• Are there specific employees whose data has been shared multiple times during a time period?

• What is the total number of share access provided during the month?

• Which manager has the most number of share access provided for others in a time period?

Transactional Grain

This subject area returns data at the grain of each share access provided to the Grantee

Special Considerations

Revoke Share Data Access process will delete the rows from the table based on the expiration date. You cannot report on historical data if this process is run.
