How do I create personal payment methods?

Title and music.

Start on the Home page.

Personal payment methods define how you receive payments. To start, open the Payment Methods work area.

Click Pay.

Click Payment Methods.

If you want to be paid by direct deposit, you can add a new bank account as you create the payment method. If you have already added your bank account details, you can also associate your payment method to that bank account.

Click Add.

Give your payment method a name and choose how you want to be paid. Then enter your account information.

In the What do you want to call this payment method field, enter BofA checking.

Click the Payment Type field and select Direct Deposit.

In the Account Number field, enter 24125125.

In the Account Type field select Checking.

In the Routing Number field, enter 122000247.

Click Create.

If you only enter one payment method, then by default 100% of your pay will be entered into that payment method.

Highlight 100%.

Click Add.

If you add more than one payment method, you have the option to save a percentage of your pay or a specific amount.

In the What do you want to call this payment method field, enter BofA Savings.

In the Payment Type field select Direct Deposit.

Click the Payment Amount field and select Amount.

In the Amount field, enter 250.00.

The Account Number field enter 063104668.

In the Account Type field select Savings.

In the Routing Number field enter 063104668.

Click Create.

Now you’ve created two payment methods. The payment methods are in the order your pay will be distributed. Which means that the first $250 dollars you earn will go into your savings account, and the remaining pay will go into your checking account. You can add more payment methods and change the order they’re processed. You can also make changes to them – such as change between specific amounts and percentages, or delete payment methods.
