How do I automate transferring performance documents to an employee's new manager?

In this video you'll learn how to automate transferring performance documents to an employee's new manager.
There are three overall steps to this process: First, you need to set or verify two profile options. Second, you need to change managers using the correct task. Finally, you need to run a process to transfer the performance documents.
You start signed in as Curtis Feitty, who has the Human Capital Management Application Administrator role, so he has all the necessary permissions. You first want to verify the profile options. To do this, run the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
On the Home page, click the Settings and Actions menu.
Click Setup and Maintenance.
Expand the Tasks pane.
Click Search.
Type Manage Administrator Profile Values.
Press the Enter key.
Drill down on Manage Administrator Profile Values.
The first profile option to check is ORA_HRA_AUTO_TRANSFER_PERF_DOCS. When this option is enabled, the system performs a check every time there's a manager change: Who's the old manager, and are there any not started or in-progress performance docs that need to be transferred? Make sure the profile value is set to Yes at the site level.
In the Profile Option Code field, enter ORA_HRA_AUTO_TRANSFER_PERF_DOCS.
Click Search.
Scroll down and verify that the profile value at the Site level is Yes.
The second profile option to check is HRC_DISABLE_HCM_EVENTS_PROCESSING. It must be set to N because the transfer check uses events.
In the Profile Option Code field, enter HRC_DISABLE_HCM_EVENTS_PROCESSING.
Click Search.
Scroll down and verify that the profile value at the Site level is N.
Now you need a test record. Navigate to Performance Documents.
Click the Home icon.
Click My Client Groups.
Click Performance.
Click Performance Documents.
You'll use Guy Mattran's 2023 Annual Evaluation for your test. Notice that it is In Progress and the current manager is Robert Jackman.
In the Review Period drop-down list, select 2023 Annual Cycle.
In the Performance Document drop-down list, select 2023 Annual Evaluation.
In the Employee drop-down list, enter Guy Mattran.
Select Guy Mattran.
Verify that Guy Mattran's 2023 Annual Evaluation is shown as in In Progress document with Robert Jackman as the manager.
Now you'll use the Change Manager action to change Guy's manager.
Click the Home icon.
Click My Client Groups.
In the Quick Actions section, click Show More.
In the Employment section, click Change Manager.
Change Guy's manager to Henry Jones. It's important to change the manager, not delete and replace, because the system is tracking changes. And if there are multiple manager changes in the same day, the system will use the manager at the time of processing, it won't process all of the old managers.
In the Search for a Person field, enter Guy Mattran.
Click Guy Mattran.
On the Change Manager page, click Continue.
In the When and Why section, click Continue.
In the Maintain Managers section, in the row with Robert Jackman, click the Edit icon.
In the Name field, enter Henry Jones.
Click Henry Jones.
Click OK.
Click Submit.
Wait for the notification that the manager change is complete, then run the Transfer Performance Documents with Manager Change process. The application doesn't process completed or cancelled performance documents, only not started or in-progress documents. Recommended practice is to run this process daily.
Click the Notification icon.
Click Dismiss.
Click the Navigator icon.
Expand the Tools section.
Click Scheduled Processes.
Click Schedule New Process.
In the Schedule New Process dialog box, in the Name field, enter Transfer Performance.
Click OK.
Click Submit.
Click OK at the confirmation message.
Click the Refresh icon until Status is Succeeded.
Return to Guy's performance document and verify the manager change. Congratulations! You've successfully transferred Guy's performance documents to his new manager.
Click the Home icon.
Click My Client Groups.
Click Performance.
Click Performance Documents.
In the Review Period drop-down list, select 2023 Annual Cycle.
In the Performance Document drop-down list, select 2023 Annual Evaluation.
In the Employee drop-down list, enter Guy Mattran.
Select Guy Mattran.
Verify that Guy Mattran's 2023 Annual Evaluation is shown as in In Progress document with Henry Jones as the manager.
