What are the business rules that apply to person address attributes included in Redwood pages?
Person address attributes have been added to VB Studio Business Rules for these Redwood pages. You can create business rules with conditions for these attributes.
Here’s the list of the Redwood pages:
- Contact Info
- Hire an Employee
- Add a Nonworker
- Add a Contingent Worker
- Add a Pending Worker
- Create Work Relationship
- Edit Pending Worker
- Convert Pending Worker
- Create a Family and Emergency Contact
- Edit a Family and Emergency Contact
- Local and Global Transfer
To have more control over the display and editing of the person address attributes, some of you may have created a Page Composer personalization on the responsive page. This personalization made a few address attributes as read-only for Line Managers, but allowed HR professionals to be able to edit all their address attributes. You can now achieve this same functionality in the Redwood pages by using VB Studio Business Rules.
The following table describes the business rules that apply to the person address attributes. To control the display of the address attributes listed in bullets in the fourth row of this table, you can use the Manage Address Formats Setup and Maintenance task. For supporting validations, you can use VB Studio Business Rules.
