This table shows what happens at the position and worker assignment levels when a position budget isn’t configured on the Enterprise HCM Information page.

Worker Assignment | Use Case 1: The Apply Incumbent
Validation checkbox is deselected on the Enterprise HCM
Information page. Outcome: No validation of FTE and Headcount is performed at the worker assignment level. Use Case 2: The Apply Incumbent Validation checkbox is selected on the Enterprise HCM Information page. Outcome: Here's how the FTE and Headcount of the position on the worker assignment are checked:
