Create Cashier Job Role

As administrators, you create the consumer goods cashier job role, as it's not predefined with the application. Job roles refer to the job functions, which users perform in an organization.

To create the consumer goods cashier job role:

  1. Navigate to the Roles subtab of the Security Console and click Create Role.

  2. Provide the following information about the Basic Information train stop:

    ACO_CG_CASHIER_CUSTOM

    Role Category

    CRM - Job Roles

  3. Navigate to the Functional Security Policies train stop and click Add Function Security Policy.

  4. On the Add Function Security Policy window, perform the following steps:

    1. Search for and select View Opportunity.

    2. Click Add Role to Privilege.

  5. Navigate to the Data Security Policies train stop and click Create Data Security Policy.

  6. Provide the following information about the Create Data Security Policy dialog box and click OK:

    Grant on Trading Community Party

    Database Resource

    Trading Community party

    Start Date

    Select a start date according to the requirements of your organization

    Data Set

    Select using instance set

    Condition Name

    Access the trading community person for table HZ_PARTIES for all resources in the enterprise

    • View Trading Community Resource

  7. Navigate to the Role Hierarchy train stop and click Add Role.

  8. On the Add Role Membership window, perform the following steps:

    1. Search and select the following roles and click Add Role Membership:

      • Transactional Analysis Duty

      • BI Consumer Role

  9. Navigate to the Summary and Impact train stop and click Save and Close.

The consumer goods cashier job role is created.
