Set Up and Sync Calendar for Infolets

As an administrator, you can now set up the calendar for Sales and Target infolet and synchronize the calendar regularly.

The following steps enable you to set up and synchronize calendar for the Sales and Target infolet:

  • Set up calendar with adjusting period frequency for Sales and Target infolet

  • Run enterprise Scheduler to synchronize calendar

Adjust Period Frequency

You must set up your calendar with Adjusting Period Frequency as None to display the applicable quota values in a given period.

Here's a scenario on how selecting a different adjusting period frequency can show a different value in the Sales vs Target infolet on the dashboard. When you set the adjusting period frequency to Once At Year End, your quota update on December 31 doesn't show up in Quarter 4 (Q4) in the Sales vs Target infolet. Once At Year End value treats December 31 as the adjusting period and excludes it in the Q4 which otherwise spans from October 01 to December 31. To avoid similar situations, set the adjusting period frequency to None when setting up your calendar.
