Enable Surveys and Tasks for Objects
As a sales administrator, you can now create executable surveys and tasks for your custom objects. Let's see what you can do with the objects for operational efficiency.

Create an object to suit your business requirement.

Assign a survey template to a defined task in any object.

Publish the parent object tasks to one or more accounts and clusters.

Complete the survey tasks during the store visits and field operations.

Improve the pace and efficiency of your retail operations.
Based on your configuration and settings, salesperson and field staff can complete the survey and tasks during their store visit.
Here's how you can create and manage the survey templates for operational efficiency.
Prerequisites
Before you work with any custom objects, ensure you complete the following settings:

Create an object that you need, for example, Brand Information.

Map the object to clusters. Ensure you add a filter to work with clusters in Active status.

Create a publish button to trigger the scheduled process job.

Create a DCL field in the Activities.

Go to Application Composer > Standard Objects, > Activity > Fields.
Create Object and Tasks
As a marketing manager or sales administrator, you can perform the following tasks:

Create an object, for example, Brand Information.

Add tasks and surveys as appointments.

Associate object to clusters and its accounts. When you use clusters, you don't need to manually associate surveys to individual accounts .

Complete the appointments during store visits.
Let's see how you create a task for Brand Information:

Go to

Specify the values for the fields such as the name, owner, start dates, and end dates.

Click Save and Close to create a draft survey template.

On the brand information summary page, go to the Clusters subtab, search and select a cluster. Click Save
Survey is now associated with all accounts in that cluster.
Note:You can still associate surveys to individual accounts.

Go to Activities > Create Task to create tasks for the object.

Specify the values for the fields such as the task name, owner, priority, start and end dates, primary contact, and category.

On the brand information summary page, click Publish to start publishing the objective tasks to clusters.
When the scheduled process is complete, the objective tasks are created in all the accounts of the cluster.

Go to Account > Objective Tasks to verify the associated information such as Target Object Name and Target Name.

Click Save and Close to convert objective tasks to appointments.
Now, you can proceed to create appointments.

Go to Account > Activities > Create Appointment.

Specify the values for the fields such as the subject, type, start and end dates, recurrence, and reminder.
Note:Select Store Visit, Store Visit Type, and Route

Click Save and Close to download appointment tasks as store visit tasks.
When the scheduled process is complete, the associated tasks and surveys are populated as appointments.
Your salesperson can complete these surveys and tasks during their store visits.
