Product Attribute Sync to Assortment Line

Products are the key objects in consumer goods retail execution.

Introduction

Products are used in different areas of the application and one such key area is the assortment lines. Any change made at the product level must be distributed to the corresponding assortment lines. Whenever a product is modified, it initiates an ESS job to update corresponding assortment lines of the product. It considers any changes in the field name, description, category, and default UOM, and updates the corresponding details in assortment lines.

Profile Options

Updates to assortment lines are performed in batches. The batch limit is defined using the ORA_ACO_PRODSYNC_ASRTLINE_BATCH_LIMIT profile option. The logging level is controlled using the ORA_ACO_PRODSYNC_LOG_LEVEL profile option. The values range from 0 to 5 where 5 indicates highest logging.

Note: The product update deals with updates in assortment lines. You must not trigger assortment plan publish along with product update to avoid creation of unreliable data.
