Choose a Generic Provider Connection for a Deployment

A deployment that is intended for use with a generic integration provider needs to be associated with a generic provider web service connection by a Manager. This enables the system integrator to associate the required endpoints for that connection with each operation (load, save, query, set checkpoint and get checkpoint) needed by the deployment.

To choose a generic provider web service connection for a deployment:

  1. In Intelligent Advisor Hub, navigate to the Deployments Page.
  2. Click the deployment name. The deployment details page is displayed.
  3. In the VERSION HISTORY panel:

    1. Click the menu to the right of the version that you want to use.
    2. Select Connection.
    3. In the Connection window, select the generic provider web service connection you want to use in the drop-down list.

The required operations are listed. Successfully registered integrations are shown with a green dot icon. Unregistered integrations are shown with a red stop icon and inactive integrations (those that are registered but are not responding) are shown with a yellow warning icon.
    4. Click OK. Then click Apply.

Note that:

  • New deployment versions will automatically use the same connection (this can be changed later if required).
  • Before the deployment can be activated in Intelligent Advisor Hub, the system integrator needs to register all endpoints for the deployment version with Intelligent Advisor Hub.
