Configure Checkpoints for a B2C Service Instance
By configuring B2C Service to store Intelligent Advisor checkpoints, customers and agents can choose to resume a previous interview, or start a new interview.
Note: Configuration only needs to be done once for a B2C Service instance. This will enable checkpoints for any interviews by logged-in contacts and agents that use that site. A token of their user ID identifies the user for the purpose of saving checkpoints. Checkpoints are only supported with Intelligent Advisor widget version 1.1 and later. You can check the version of an existing Intelligent Advisor widget.
To set up B2C Service to support interview checkpoints, follow the steps in Enable Checkpoints In B2C Service.
To understand how checkpoints work, see Interview Checkpoint Behavior In B2C Service.
To access the saved checkpoint data so that it can be loaded into the Debugger for testing purposes, in B2C Service go to the FileAttachments field associated with the OPA.ContactCheckpoint or OPA.AgentCheckpoint object. Under FileAttachments you should find a single checkpoint.dat file per record. Download this file and change the extension to .cpz. The .cpz file can then be imported into the Debugger.
