Deactivate a Deployed Project

When you deploy and activate a new project version, Intelligent Advisor Hub automatically deactivates the previously deployed version. Managers can also explicitly deactivate a project version at any time, or Delete a Deployment altogether. This will be necessary when you have reached the maximum number of activations allowed for the Hub.

You can deactivate a deployment:

  • on all channels, or
  • on specific channels (for Policy Modeling project deployments).

Deactivate a deployment on all channels

To deactivate a deployed project on all channels:

  1. In Intelligent Advisor Hub, navigate to the Deployments Page.
  2. Click the deployment name. This will display the deployment details page for that deployment, including the activation settings for the deployment.

  3. Click the Actions menu and select Deactivate. The DEPLOYMENT SUMMARY panel now shows the deployment as Currently inactive.

On the Deployments page, the deployment is now shown as Inactive.

Note: When deactivating a decision service project that is referenced by other projects, you will be warned that the associated projects may fail.

Deactivate a deployment on specific channels (for Policy Modeling project deployments)

To deactivate a deployed Policy Modeling project on specific channels:

  1. In Intelligent Advisor Hub, navigate to the Deployments Page.
  2. Click the deployment name. This will display the deployment details page for that deployment, including the activation settings for the deployment.

  3. In the SETTINGS panel, uncheck the check boxes for the channels you want to deactivate.
  4. Click Apply. The DEPLOYMENT SUMMARY panel now shows that those channels are no longer activated.
