Accept the Attachment of Files and Forms

The GetMetadata response action defines if each specific table can accept attachments using the accepts-attachments attribute. It does not define generated forms; these can always be attached.

Attachment (upload) controls and generated forms can be attached to screens collecting for the global entity regardless of whether the table mapped for global output is defined as accepting attachments or not. Child entities which are mapped to tables defined as accepting attachments can have attachment controls.

In the example below, the 'Car Request' table accepts attachments.

This means instances of an entity which is mapped to this table are permitted to have upload controls placed on screens collecting instance information, or within corresponding entity collect containers.
