Disable Or Re-Enable an API Client Account
API client accounts are both disabled and re-enabled in Intelligent Advisor Hub by the Permissions administrator. Note that if an account is disabled, then all integrations that use that API client will no longer function.
Disable an API client account
To disable an API client account:
- In Intelligent Advisor Hub, navigate to the Permissions Page.
- Select the API clients tab.
- Click the client identifier.
- On the API client details page, in the API CLIENT SETTINGS section, click the Disabled option next to Status.
- Click Apply. In the list of API clients on the Permissions page, you will see that the API client account is now disabled (indicated by a cross on the person icon).
Re-enable an API client account
To re-enable an API client account:
- In Intelligent Advisor Hub, navigate to the Permissions Page.
- Select the API clients tab.
- Click the client identifier.
- In the API CLIENT SETTINGS section, click the Enabled option next to Status.
- Click Apply. In the list of API clients on the Permissions page, you will see that the API client account is now enabled.
