Introduction to Workspaces and Roles
Intelligent Advisor Hub can be securely shared across multiple project teams and users. Access is managed by:
- organizing projects and deployments into workspaces, and
- assigning each user the roles that they have for each workspace.
For example, a Hub could have a workspace, Retail Banking, that contains the Loan Calculator project and Checklist deployment. In this workspace the user Mohammed has the role of Viewer, Amara has a role of both Author and Manager and Elle has a role of Author. These users may have different roles in other workspaces. For example, in the Business Banking workspace, Mohammed has the role of Author, and in the Insurance workspace, Amara only has the role of Manager.
Connections can also be limited to particular workspaces.
Roles determine the level of a user's access in Intelligent Advisor Hub. The assignment of roles to users can either be:
- Manually performed by any Permissions administrator in Intelligent Advisor Hub on the permissions details page for the user, or
- Automated via the Intelligent Advisor Hub REST API, using an API client (see Manage Users).
