Virus Scanning of Interview Attachments

Virus scanning can be enabled so that all files uploaded to interviews are scanned for viruses, ensuring that malicious code is not being imported. When enabled, the uploaded files are sent to the configured anti-virus service before being stored. If the anti-virus service detects a threat, the system will display an error message and the file will not be stored. Virus scanning also works for attachments uploaded via Chat API.

Note: You only need to enable virus scanning if your connected application does not have a virus scanner. Virus scanning is always enabled for Cloud Service customers, and is optionally turned on for self-managed customers (For more information, see Intelligent Advisor Hub Configuration Properties).
