Configure Your Identity Provider to Support SAML Authentication
Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication works by redirecting users to a login page that is hosted by an identity provider external to Intelligent Advisor Hub. Both Oracle Policy Modeling and Intelligent Advisor Hub support SAML authentication, for self-managed Intelligent Advisor installations. Any SAML 2.0 identity provider that can be configured in WebLogic can be used with an Intelligent Advisor site.
To configure your identity provider to support SAML authentication with Intelligent Advisor Hub, you must first ensure SAML authentication is enabled. Then your Intelligent Advisor Hub must be set up as a destination site for SAML SSO.
For Oracle Access Manager (OAM), follow these steps:
- Turn on SAML mode for OAM: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40329_01/admin.1112/e27239/oif_1.htm#AIAAG6499
- Set up Intelligent Advisor Hub as a destination site for SAML SSO: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/web.1111/e13707/saml.htm
For other identity providers, consult the relevant product documentation for details on how to setup SAML authentication.
