Add a Rule Document

Decision service projects and flow projects support the creation of multiple rule documents.

To add an additional rule document to a decision service or flow project:

  1. In the project view, click the Add Document button.

  2. In the New Document window:

    1. In the Name field, enter a name for the rule document.

    2. (Optional) In the Description field, enter a description for the rule document. This will be displayed on the rule document tile in the project view.

    3. Click Create. The rule document opens in a new tab in the project view.

To edit the name and description for a rule document:

  1. In the project view, click the three buttons in the bottom right of the rule document tile.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. In the Edit Document window:

    1. (Optional) In the Name field, enter a new name for the rule document.

    2. (Optional) In the Description field, enter a new description for the rule document. This will be displayed on the rule document tile in the project view.

    3. Click Save.

To delete a rule document:

  1. In the project view, click the three dots button in the bottom right of the rule document tile.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. In the Delete rule document dialog, click Delete.
