Load Data From B2C Service

This topic contains information specific to loading data from Oracle B2C Service using input mappings in Policy Modeling. For more general information on how to set up an Intelligent Advisor interview to load data, see Load Data Before an Interview Starts.

Both Customer Portal users and contact center agents have data that can be pre-seeded into the interview. You need to specify what data to load. (For anonymous users, there is no data to pre-seed from so at the start of the interview no data will be loaded.)

Intelligent Advisor supports retrieving lists of values from various B2C Service fields. For example, a policy model containing attributes collecting the country for a billing address and the country for a mailing list address could both be input-mapped to the B2C Service Country field. For more information, see Lists Supported for B2C Service.

If you change the data model in B2C Service (for example, by adding a new custom field or object) after setting up your data mappings, you will need to refresh the view of the data model in Policy Modeling.
