Save Data When an Interview Completes
Interview data can be saved back to a specific connected application from an Intelligent Advisor interview when the interview completes. This can be useful for:
- Retaining data for future use (name, address, preferences)
- Keeping a record of the decision (saving outcome values and audit reports)
- Creating tasks or follow-up actions
To save data at the end of an interview, you need to define the output mappings for the project. This involves specifying, in this order:
- what data to save to application tables from the Intelligent Advisor global entity
- what data to save to application tables from other Intelligent Advisor entities
- what data to save to application links from Intelligent Advisor relationships
- what data to save to application fields from Intelligent Advisor attributes.
It is also possible to save interview data and outcomes to your application in documentary format. The files will be saved to the table mapped to the Global entity. However, you must ensure the table you are creating or updating supports the saving of file attachments. For more information, see:
