Report On a Decision

For every decision that is made, Intelligent Advisor can provide detailed reasons showing how that decision was reached. The reasons are directly generated from the rules and attributes involved in making the decision.

In interviews, you can choose how much of this reasoning you show or hide from an end user.

• Explanations allow you to display the decision report to the end user, while filtering out information that may be too detailed for their purposes.
• Forms allow you to create a HTML, rich text format (RTF), or PDF (including PDF/A and PDF/UA) file that can include an explanation. Forms can be displayed to an end user during an interview or automatically saved as a record of the decision.
• Audit reports allow you to create a complete unfiltered record of the decision, which can be automatically saved during the interview.

When using a web service, the decision report for an attribute can be configured to show either the full reasoning (similar to an audit report) or an explanation (where detailed information is filtered out).
