Overview of Inclusions

An inclusion is a Policy Modeling project that has been imported into another Policy Modeling project for the purpose of reusing some or all of the project’s assets (for example, rules, screens and styles).

Inclusion projects are themselves managed just like any other project in a repository in Intelligent Advisor Hub. There is no need to indicate in the project whether it is going to be used as an inclusion.

Using inclusions you have control over if and when to update assets from the included project. You can also override assets that have come from the included asset (for example, to change a screen title) while not losing the connection with the included project. It is also possible to revert to the main version of any inclusion at any time, or to remove it completely from a project if it is no longer needed. There are safeguards in place to prevent the unintended overriding of inclusion content.

Note: Inclusions are available for users with Intelligent Advisor Collaboration enabled. If you would like this optional feature enabled, contact your Oracle sales representative.
