Retain a Debug Session

Data in a debug session is retained, as much as possible, when you close and reopen the Debugger. This facilitates the testing of a policy model in the Debugger while simultaneously making changes to it in Policy Modeling.

Note that you will be alerted in the Debugger when it has detected that changes have been made to the project since the debug session started.

Clicking Apply will apply the changes and retain the previous data in the Debugger.

Note that when using data in a test connector data file, if the field value is already loaded into the session, then any changes to the data will not be reflected when changes in the Debugger are applied. However, if the field value is not currently loaded into the session (or unloaded and then reloaded) the data changes will be reflected.
