Specify the Test Cases That an Entity Instance Applies to
Entity worksheets in a testing document have a first column titled Test Cases. This column is used to specify the test cases that a given entity row applies to.
- To have the entity row apply to all test cases, enter all in this column.
- To restrict the test cases that the entity row applies to, enter:
- a list of test cases, such as 1,3,7,or
- a range of test cases, such as 1..10, or
- lists of test cases and ranges, such as 1..10,12,14,16..20
Where multiple rows have the same identifying attribute name, the last entity row with a matching Test Cases clause is used for any given test case. For example, an entity row may define Ashley for all test cases, but a subsequent definition of Ashley for test cases 5..8 would be used instead for those test cases.
