Onboarding and the App Development Process
The Oracle CX Apps platform enables providers to build integrations between their systems and Oracle Responsys and Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools by building apps. These apps help marketers orchestrate their campaigns across platforms in near real time. Developers can develop apps intended for all customers of the Marketplace, or develop custom solutions for just a single customer.
By building an app, an App Provider makes their services available to Oracle Marketing customers. Marketers can use an app to send campaigns to their customers on channels not currently native to their Oracle Marketing products, or extend the capabilities of a product.

Who can build Apps?
Apps can be classified into two types:

Generic Apps – Apps built intended to be used by multiple Oracle Marketing customers.

Custom Apps – Tailor-made apps to meet specific customer requirements.
Oracle CX Apps can be used by anyone interested in building apps for Oracle Responsys and Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools. Providers building apps can include:

ISVs who want to build “generic apps” to complement the capabilities of Oracle Marketing products.

Implementation Partners/System Integrators who want to build “generic apps” for Oracle Marketing customers or “custom apps” for specific customer requirements.

Oracle Marketing customers who want to build a “custom app” for themselves to achieve a tailor-made solution for their specific needs.

Oracle Internal teams who want to build “generic apps” for Oracle Marketing customers or “custom apps” for a specific customer requirements.
