Jobs API
Jobs are tasks to transfer data or to complete system tasks. You can manage and monitor jobs from the Jobs page.
The Jobs API enables you to create, update, and retrieve your jobs.

Job types
The job type naming displayed when using the API endpoints differ slightly compared to job types names used in the Oracle Oracle Audience Segmentation interface. Refer to the following table to learn how the job type names in the API correspond to the user interface.

- INGEST, EXPORT, QUERYEXPORT, CAMPAIGN jobs are configured by users.
- DW, PUBLISH, ANALYTICS, IDGRAPH jobs are configured by the system.
Explore the API
The embedded I/O doc below enables you to explore the API. The I/O doc explains the parameters for each method and provides templates for your calls. You cannot make live API calls from the tool, however. Note that the embedded doc includes reference to APIs that are available only to Unity customers. APIs available to Oracle Audience Segmentation customers are described in this documentation.
