Viewing, exporting, and resubmitting form spam data

To minimize form submission spam, the Oracle Eloqua form spam protection feature can help identify and limit form submissions that are from unverified sources. You can view and export form spam data for your active forms, which will be retained for 90 days after the spam submission

To view and export form spam data:

  1. Navigate to AssetsAn image of the Assets icon, which is represented by a black pencil., then click Forms.
  2. Locate and open an Active form.
  3. Select Actions and then select View Spam Data.
  4. From the Form Spam Data dialog, click Export.

  5. Enter the email address that will receive the export file.
  6. Select the file type for the export.
  7. Click Export.

To mark spam submissions as not spam:

  1. Navigate to AssetsAn image of the Assets icon, which is represented by a black pencil., then click Forms.
  2. Locate and open an Active form.
  3. Select Actions and then select View Spam Data.
  4. From the Form Spam Data dialog, right click on the submission and select Mark as not spam
  5. You will be prompted to confirm the spam submission should be marked as not spam and resubmitted.
  6. The submission will validate the fields submitted against the form as it currently exists, and return an error if the data is invalid. If the validation fails the spam submission will remain in the report.
  7. If the submission is successful the processing steps will be triggered as normal at the time of the resubmission.

The recipient receives an automated email on the email address provided while exporting. The email will contain the export file.
