Copying a Data Source

You can copy a SQL View, a Join View, or a Supplemental Filter from the Folders page. Copying any of these data sources produces a file that has the same field definitions and data as the original.

Note: You also use this page to name and select the location for a link table copy.

To copy a data source

  1. Click the for the data source on the Folders page and choose Copy.
  2. Enter a name for the new data source and choose its location.
    Data source names can be up to 100 characters long and can include only these characters:
    A-Z a-z 0-9 space ! - = @ _ . [ ] { }
    The data source name must be unique in the folder you select, but you can have multiple data sources with the same name in different folders.
  3. Click Next.
