Basing Your Form on an Existing Form
A copied form inherits some or all of its characteristics from the original: document, prefill list, supplemental data tables, form rules, etc. – everything that's defined for the original form at the time you create the copy.
Copying an existing form saves you having to specify all the characteristics of your new form, and it helps enforce stylistic consistency and reuse of standard form elements.
