Oracle Responsys System Requirements
Oracle Responsys is provided as Software as a Service (SaaS) and therefore does not require any special client software to be installed on your computer other than a standard Web browser.
Supported Browsers
With every Oracle Responsys release, our QA team tests using the following Web browsers:
- Microsoft Edge
Important: Oracle Responsys will no longer provide Internet Explorer (IE) 11 bug fixes starting with the 20A update. Due to significant performance issues using IE11 and based on the recommendation from Microsoft (see Microsoft Support FAQ), Oracle Cloud customers are strongly recommended to use a modern browser when accessing its applications.
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome: We test the then-current release of Chrome when we are testing a new Oracle Responsys release. Because Chrome auto-updates, users will typically have that release of Chrome or newer.
For the above browsers, we test the Windows desktop version. For Macintosh users, we recommend Google Chrome, which we have observed to be highly consistent between the Windows version (which we test) and the Mac version (which we do not test, except informally through Oracle Responsys employees’ use).
If a new browser update occurs and causes a major functional incompatibility, we will fix it as soon as possible rather than waiting for the next Oracle Responsys release. If a browser update causes a cosmetic issue which does not affect functionality, we will address it in a future Oracle Responsys release.
