Defining Link Categories

To define link categories (account administrator activity only):

  1. Click The Account icon Account on the side navigation bar, and select Define Link Categories on the Account Management page.
  2. Define the values expected to be found in the Link Category field of link tables.

Notes

  • To view and validate which link category values are being used in a clickthrough-tracking campaign, click The Folders icon Folders on the side navigation bar, and select Properties from the campaign drop-down list.
  • Values in this list are case-sensitive. Example: "New Customer” and "new customer” will be listed separately in reports.
  • This list is not checked when a user uploads data or creates a link table from an existing HTML document.
  • All link category values found in the link table will be included in reports, even if they are not listed on this page.
