About Locales
Locale specifiers have one of the following formats:
language
language_region
language_region_variant
language__variant
where
language is a two-character code in lower case. region is an optional two-character code in upper case. variant is an optional code in upper or lower case.
Important: To specify a variant, you must include both underscores, even if you don't specify a region.
Locale specifiers
Live reports and overlay reports are available for the following locales:
Locale indicators for distributable reports
You can use one of the locale specifiers shown above to distribute a non-English version of the live report or overlay report. In the report URL you obtain from the Campaign URLs page, just replace l=en with l=locale (for example, l=fr for French, l=zh_TW for Traditional Chinese, and l=ru__cp1251 for Russian in the windows-1251 character set).
You can also use an extension of that last example to distribute a live report or overlay report containing data about campaigns that use multiple locales and character sets—just specify UTF-8 as the character set:
language_region_UTF-8
language__UTF-8
For example, you could create a Korean version of a distributable live report that includes several campaigns with names in Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese by changing l=en to l=ko__UTF-8 in the report URL. You could send a Traditional Chinese version of the same multiple-campaign live report by changing l=en to l=zh_TW_UTF-8 instead. For simplified Chinese, use l=zh__UTF-8 instead.
To send an English version of that same report, just change l=en to l=en__UTF-8
